For this project, AR-kee Design Studio envisioned a space that brings together the sophistication of modern design and the warmth of luxe residential detailing, resulting in a home that feels both indulgent and intimately personal.

The concept, aptly named “Grand Modern Luxe,” celebrates proportion, materiality, and light. Every inch of the home — from the entryway to the master suite — was shaped around the rhythm of everyday living, proving that modern opulence can also be understated, functional, and timeless.

Living & Dining — A Space that Breathes and Connects

At the heart of the home lies a living and dining space defined by openness and flow. A muted palette of stone, warm woods, and bronze undertones creates an atmosphere that feels grounded yet refined.
The curved sofa anchors the space, softening the linear architecture while encouraging intimacy and conversation. Behind it, a dark-veined marble feature wall introduces drama without overpowering the room, balanced by recessed lighting that mimics the glow of dusk.
The dining area transitions effortlessly from everyday family meals to social gatherings, with lighting that adjusts from bright to ambient — a choreography of function and mood. Here, AR-kee Design Studio’s emphasis on narrative design comes alive: every surface, joint, and material was chosen to evoke calm while keeping the space highly usable.

The adjoining open-plan kitchen continues the home’s dialogue of elegance and practicality. Clad in soft grey tones and framed with warm timber accents, it’s both a culinary workspace and a social hub.

The master suite channels the elegance of a five-star hotel yet remains deeply personal. The bedhead wall, with its soft geometric paneling and tactile fabrics, creates a dramatic focal point, accentuated by fluted glass and concealed lighting.

Every element — from the mirror-lined walls to the upholstered finishes — was orchestrated to enhance the sense of calm and symmetry. Subtle layers of lighting allow the room to shift in mood throughout the day, offering both intimacy and openness.

The interplay of mirrors, matte textures, and soft illumination elongates the corridor, making it feel spacious and immersive. Every detail — from the recessed drawer handles to the soft-close mechanisms — reinforces AR-kee’s craftsmanship and commitment to functional luxury.
