Urban Tropical Living
The aim of this project is to grey the boundary between outdoors and indoors. We achieved it by creating transition of space using skylight, breeze blocks and water body. The result: creating a tropical resort living space space in an urban city.
A 6m tall trellis wall segregates the living room from the kitchen. It provides privacy to the dining space and bedrooms on the upper floor. In addition, the gaps on feature wall create an artistic display of light and shadow into the atrium at different times of the day.
The interior design of a tropical living space can breathe new life into a space even when we live in an urban city. By integrating some natural touches into our lives, we can add a few deeper breaths into the daily grind; connection to nature is, after all, a key ingredient for health and well-being.
Add a touch of tropical style to your interior design to create a home oasis. In order to create an idyllic tropical living space, add natural lights, live plants and animals to your living space.
Working with an experienced interior designer is more useful than just choosing a design trend and running with it; it helps you consider what the most important considerations are for your space. To create a space that truly represents you and your style, it all starts with a well thought out layout.
Our design team at AR-kee Design Studio focuses on ensuring each design proposal is unique and personalised. Based on your space characteristics, the design need, how you intend to use the space, as well as the personality and style of the users.
